How to use Fritz A+ Aquarium Salt

To condition water for tropical community fish and goldfish tanks:
After using Fritz Guard™, add 2 teaspoons of Fritz A+ Aquarium Salt per 5 gallons of aquarium water. In live-bearer tanks, use up to 2 level teaspoons per gallon, adding salt slowly over 3-4 days.

In Ponds:
Add 1lb, (1 bag) per 100 gallons. For disease control use up to 2.5 lbs. per 100 gallons.

Treatment of External Parasites:
Prepare a 2.5% saline bath in a quarantine tank by adding 1/2 cup (95 gm) per 1 gallon of water. Immerse fish for 15-30 minutes, removing at first signs of stress. Replace fish in tank. Top off tank with dechlorinated water.

Recharging Fritz White Carbon Zeolite:
To release ammonia absorbed by Fritz White Carbon™ Zeolite, dissolve one pound Fritz A+ Aquarium Salt in one gallon of water. Let White Carbon™ Zeolite soak overnight. Rinse and re-use up to 6 times.

Cleaning Aquarium & Accessories:
Never use any soap or disinfectant! To create a powerful, safe cleansing solution, simply dissolve 1/3 cup Fritz A+ Aquarium Salt in one gallon of warm water. Wipe sides of tank and soak accessories in solution.

Hatching Brine Shrimp:
Dissolve 4-7 teaspoons Fritz A+ Aquarium Salt per gallon of water.
