Fritz Air Pumps are designed for high air output and low maintenance. The only air pump you will ever need; all Fritz Air Pumps need their diaphragms changed less often than conventional models and are made of ABS plastic which is resistant to breaks, cracks and bends. These Air Pumps are perfect for running standard air stones, sponge filters, larger air stones, undergravel filters, corner filters and for moving decorations. Also a great method of better oxygenating the water and increasing circulation.

Mighty Air Pumps are Fritz’s least expensive line for quality air production- but these pumps are far from standard. All Mighty Air Pumps come with advanced features for complete customer satisfaction.

Perfect for those heavy-duty applications where large amounts of air must be delivered to the bottom of deep aquariums, ponds or hatcheries without the loss of pressure. Frequently Asked Questions

Can these air pumps handle sponge filters? Yes! They do a great job on sponge filters. The Ultra 15/50 would be the perfect size to run the Fritz Round, Triangle or Square sponge filters. Are they single or double outlet? The Mighty II and the Mighty III have double outlet points, while the Ultra 15/50 and the Ultra 30/80 both have double outlets. Each outlet of our Elite and Mighty double outlet pumps is independent, so that increasing the pressure on one side does not decrease the output of flow on the other side. Are the pumps adjustable? The Mighty III and Ultra 30/80 are fully adjustable, with a built in control valves. Are there pump repair kits available? Absolutely. In the unlikely event that one is needed, there are inexpensive, easy to use repair kits available for all our pumps except the Ultra 5/20. What is the difference between the Mighty Air Pumps and the Ultra? The Ultra Air Pumps are designed for high air output, silent-sound operation and low-to-no vibration. They are a higher quality pump, longer lasting and more efficient at each size airstone and depth. As the diagrams show, a small increase in depth can cause a major loss in air output with the Mighty Air Pumps (hence the more jagged shape of the curve). The Mighty I is larger than the Ultra Mini but slightly smaller than the Ultra 5/20. Can these air pumps handle larger airstones? Absolutely. The Mighty and the Ultra Air Pumps will both handle larger size airstones. They will only slightly decrease the air output of each pump at each depth. For more info, see airstones.
